I cannot recommend Tom Barbour highly enough as an employment attorney for local government employees. I came to Tom during a highly stressful HR process due to feeling unsupported by my agency and leadership. Having him on retainer for legal guidance – via phone calls and texts – made an enormous difference in my peace of mind. Knowing I could reach out and get a thoughtful, timely response significantly reduced my anxiety throughout the process. Tom was consistently available and communicative, and he helped me understand the situation from multiple perspectives and offered clear, experience-based strategy at every step. When I felt alone in a difficult situation, his support was genuinely invaluable. If you’re facing a workplace or HR issues and need someone knowledgeable, responsive, and truly in your corner, I recommend you contact Tom Barbour. While I hope I never have to, I would hire Tom again without hesitation.
